CHF’s New Groove: Resource Development for increased Coalition Advocacy

By Noah Hammes, CHF Staff

The Coalition for Health Funding is excited to announce the rollout of several new resources that will help provide essential information for members to use internally and externally to strengthen our call for robust sustained health funding across all agencies.

Today we are releasing a series of historical funding graphs which provide funding history from FY 2000 to FY 2021 for all relevant LHHS agencies, and provide inflation adjusted lines for clear comparison of funding amounts. This graph series will be continuously updated and will allow our membership to better contextualize funding needs through an examination of historical funding trends.

In addition to this, we are also announcing the launch of our Agency Collaboration series, which focuses on highlighting the interdependent and collaborative nature of agency work on key public health issues. We have developed these in collaboration with various member organizations. These one-pagers cover several public health topics:

We hope these one-pagers will be a resource to you during your Hill Days. We are also excited to share that you can co-brand these one-pagers. Reach out to nhammes@dc-crd.com with a high-resolution photo of your logo and our staff will add it to any of these!

Looking forward, we have several exciting resources in the works. CHF is developing an informative video on the appropriations process that we hope will be an excellent primer on the subject. The Coalition is also starting work on a series of agency one-pagers, which will help our members explain the important work done by each health care and public health focused federal agency.  We will also be adding to our Agency Collaboration series.

We hope these resources are helpful to you moving forward. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any suggestions or questions.
