 The National Violent Death Reporting System achieved nationwide funding in 2018. As we move toward a program that makes national data on violent deaths available, this briefing will highlight the successes that North Carolina, Kentucky, and Illinois have had in the program, and the evidence-based policies to prevent violent deaths that have come from the investment in this data collection.
